No doubt about it, we have been to quite a few vets looking for the best ... we found Dr Woods and Dr Kali, both of whom we love. We haven't been with the 3rd vet there so can't comment on her. But Dr's Wood and Kali are both very professional, yet very relaxed, very comfortable to be with, and very accomplished. They are just as familiar with our Min-Pin as with our Whippet, a sight hound.
Their pricing is reasonable compared to others, they do all insurances without problems, and they will talk and do holistic, acupuncture, and nutrition, as well as standard medical care. They have one of the top of the line surgeons coming in for surgery if needed. Our Min-Pin had knee surgery on both knees for luxating patella at a much more reasonable price and by an extremely accomplished surgeon.
The facility is small, and is kept extremely clean. There is no noticeable odor at all, foul or cover-up. The staff is very friendly and very professional. It is just off the 55 Freeway, so easy to get to from anywhere. And they have their own parking lot which is large enough to accommodate their clientele.

Great place...wonderful people. They really care about the animals.

I LOVE this place. It's a little tiny but you can tell everyone there truly loves animals. I used to work at a vet clinic, so I'm uber picky about vets--I know all the ways things can go south, unfortunately.
Luckily my dog is pretty healthy, despite his attempts to be otherwise; eating everything that is definitely not puppy food. Unfortunately, he has to come to the vet every once in a while for some intimate bottom-related issues (how embarassing!) But the vet, Dr. Leong is always so sweet to my mutt and compliments him on his adorableness (He is pretty adorable.) She's so kind and gentle with him that I think there isn't really a way this "procedure" could be any less invasive and even when he's a big ol baby about getting his nails trimmed, instead of restraining him forcefully, Dr. Leong has me pet his face and distract him instead.
That is the biggest difference between this place and others to me, that the animals are treated gently, not like animals. I guess it stands to reason that this place has a lot of holistic treatments for animals as well, which is good news, since it means that the Doctors here aren't just sitting on their laurels and pumping animals full of drugs, but are reading up on the newest procedures and advancements instead.
OH! and price-wise, this place is great! Especially for boarding. I'd always rather board my dog at a vet than anywhere else, because I know that if anything happens, he's in the best hands possible. Plus, you get your first exam 50% off if you mention it. (It's either on their site or on yelp sometimes....can't remember. ) Anyway, AWESOME!

We adopted an 11-week old Portuguese Water Dog about a month ago and have taken him to see Dr. Leong twice for his puppy vaccinations.
The office is very professional, extremely clean, and we're in and out the door in less than 30 minutes. I wish I could say the same about my own doctor! Dr. Leong has been the only vet we have seen and she is wonderful. I appreciate how friendly, gentle, helpful, and patient she has been with us. Again, I wish I could the same about my own doctor!
I highly recommend this vet clinic for your animal companion. I can't imagine going anywhere else. On a side note, if you know a good doctor for humans, please let me know.

I think what makes me want to come back here is that I don't smell all gross after coming out of the Vet. There are other vets that I been to that has the same type of doctors for cheaper price, but the experience of walking into a dirty Vet horrifies me. I don't like having to have to take a bath for both my dog and myself right after exiting the Viet, especially if the dog has to stay there by themselves to get examined.
For instance, a few days ago, I had to leave my dog there because he needs to be sedated to get his ears checked, I was thinking how I was going to get my dog a bath right when he come home while he was still feeling sick. To my surprise, when he came home, he smelled just like when I dropped him off, so I didn't had to get him a bath right away.
The doctors here are also nice. I don't have a specific doctor I go to, but I think all the doctors are the same. They are nice and gentle with my dog. I like it, and would come back here again.

Dr. Woods and Dr. Kali are some of the best vets our pet family has ever been to. They are holistic vets, who aren't interested money gouging but proper care and healing. They are sooooo nice and compassionate. Pricing is reasonable. The office is very clean and sanitary, the staff is competent and friendly. Really a professional and trust worthy place.

Dr. Woods is amazing! He made me feel totally at ease when I took my schipperke in to see him. He was very knowledgeable about my dogs breed and the foods that I was feeding. He didn't try to push any unnecessary procedures which other vets had suggested. I will be taking my two other dogs to see him very soon :)
Also the girl that was in the office was very helpful, and accommodating. She made the visit very pleasurable as well.

I have tried so many vets and this is where I ended my search. The first time I contacted Dr. Woods is to inquire the acupuncture service. My dog had a IVDD, a disc problem. She walked wobbly and was yelping in the middle the night. While other vets told me to spend thousands of dollars to do surgery, I called to discuss the possibility of acupuncture with Dr. Woods. I was not even a client and he returned my call right away to discuss the options. We took our dog there. After all cage rests and several sessions of acupuncture, she can run and jump now.
I also took my other dog there for her heart problem. She was 14. Besides prescribing medicine, Dr. Woods also provide info of supplements and Chinese herbs. Unfortunately, it was too late to do much for my 14-year-old. I felt that I have learned a lot of senior dog care from him.
I am thankful that I have found a wonderful vet and I feel the need to let others know about this place. If I had to complain about this place, it could be the higher price of some procedures. But then you know it's costly every time you take your dog to vet. I feel that it's more important to find a vet you can trust than the price you pay.

This vet is awesome for cats. My first visit was after my cat had gotten out and gotten into a fight, he came home with a tiny scratch above his eye that developed into an abcess. it got out of control and this vet drained it and cleaned it perfectly and prescribed the cat drugs which worked great.
I then took my cat back later when he was extremely lethargic, and his urinary infection was properly diagnosed and fixed with the proper meds.
The last visit was with my friend, I took him here because of his cat's rashy skin problems. they once again properly diagnosed and treated this cat and he is doing great now.
All the girls that work here are very helpful.
In response to the person who hit a cat with a car, there are "emergency room" type vet hospitals for that - you wouldn't go to your regular doctor's office if you got hit by a car, you would go to the emergency room.

After a long search for a good vet (who doesn't try to rip us off, who cares about my dog and my concerns).... I found this clinic. So far no negative experience, ... affordable prescriptions, vaccinations .. overall it is cheap compare to many other places. The vets and staff are really nice!

Misty Kitty and I recently visited this office for the first time in search of a new local vet in the neighborhood. First of all, the service was great. I called on Thursday and as a new patient, got an appointment on Saturday morning! We showed up in the pouring rain and after a short wait at the front desk, we were brought into an exam room. Dr. Leong came in, introduced herself and took the time to get to know Misty Kitty's lifestyle, his habits, his life story, etc. She was super gentle and Misty, who usually is skittish and frightened, didn't flinch. She took him for some tests, brought him back still calm, and made some recommendations for a new diet and some new life changes. I liked the non-drug solutions. A few days later, Dr. Leong followed up with informative phone messages and more advice. I was impressed with the service and the attention given to me and my kitty. We're glad to know that we found a doctor we like. Meow.

My very old cat has been failing and we finally put her down. Dr. Kali and the staff at NT were absolutely wonderful. Gentle and open about the whole process. They will be my vets from now on.

Excellent vet. Friendly staff. Dr. Woods is very good with cats. We also searched a while for a vet who would not do a lot of seemingly unnecessary but expensive procedures, but who still seemed to genuinely care, and take time to explain things. It is a long drive for us, but it is worth it.
